Health and Counseling Services is located on the first floor of Harrington Hall and provides assessment and treatment of common and emergency health concerns as well as emotional concerns. Whatever your concern may be, we can help.
For counseling services, stop by our office or call (315) 279-5368 to make an appointment to meet with a counselor. Confidential, personal counseling is provided free of charge to any registered student.
For health assistance, students are asked to call ahead to schedule an appointment with the nurse practitioner or part-time physician. We do bill insurance for these visits, so students need to bring their insurance cards with them when they come.
The doctor or nurse practitioner can call in prescriptions to area pharmacies. We work with a pharmacy in Penn Yan that will deliver prescriptions or over-the-counter medication to campus, and we can arrange to add the cost of the prescription directly to the student’s college bill. Some over-the-counter medicines are in stock and available for purchase in our office.
