Student Activities

The Office of Student Activities, located in Dahlstrom Student Center, enhances student satisfaction by offering programs that encourage learning, foster a sense of community, and provide personal development and enjoyment.We strive to achieve that mission by providing programs that:

• expose students to various cultures, ideas and issues;
• increase an awareness of, and participation in, campus activities and clubs/organizations;
• encourage the development of school spirit; and
• provide opportunities for students to develop and practice leadership.

Due to the fact that two-thirds of a student’s college experience is spent outside the classroom, the Office of Student Activities maximizes co-curricular opportunities that promote a successful college experience and assist in the development of a successful future.The Office is staffed by a full-time director, a part-time staff member, and 7-8 students employed through the work-study program. The director helps the staff promote and coordinate various activities and programs through the Campus Activities Board (programming board).
