Welcome to Our Place

Our Place, the Women’s Center at Keuka College, is located in the former Allen House on the north side of campus. The Center, now in its fifth year of operation, shares the house with five women students who work with the Center to offer programs and resources on issues of particular interest to women. The students live in the house as part of the College’s theme-housing program.

The Center was established in spring 2005 and opened its doors the following fall.

Goals of the Women’s Center Are To:

  • maintain a welcoming, supportive environment in which women can positively impact the issues that affect their daily lives, and
  • provide programs and activities that encourage individual growth and development of all women at Keuka College so they may lead and serve on campus and in the community.

The Center is guided by a steering committee composed of staff, faculty and students. The Center is staffed by a part-time director and student employees.

We invite women, faculty, staff, students, and alumnae of Keuka College to become part of a lively, intergenerational community of women who are connected as equals working for a common mission. Volunteers are always welcome to participate in organizing Women’s Center events.
